Summer 2010 VBS proved to be another success with the help of Chadder the Chipmunk's "High Seas Expedition." The VBS go-ers took a life-changing voyage while listening, learning, singing, laughing, and creating during a fun-packed five days in July! We concluded with an outdoor carnival of fun, food, games, and prizes on Thursday. There was an average of 90 children/helpers attending each night. Chrissy Cole did an exceptional job with the opening/closing song and worship time.
Not only did the children learn new songs, movements, and Bible points, they also attended four stations each night (Story, Arts/Crafts, Chadder Theater, and Snacks). The teachers and their helpers at each station gave their all! And well, the children...THEY ROCKED too! ...and then they climbed one at the carnival! :) What a great bunch! See you next July.

THANK YOU!
The Holiday Dinner was a great success. The overwhelming willingness of people to help with monetary donations, food, and their services was outstanding! It was great to see so much joy with people laughing, interacting with one another, and having a great time. We served over 225 dinners to the community. We were also blessed to have GLORYBOUND provide music at the dinner. A special thank you to all those who helped in any way. You are a great blessing to the Church of Genesis.
May God Bless each and everyone of you!

The Annual Church Picnic and Baptism at Moraine State Park
July 13, 2008
What a great day it was for food, fun, and friendly laughter!
God bless all who publicly declared their Christian faith by being baptized at the old-fashioned Baptism after the picnic. See pictures below.

Genesis Fall Bonfire at the Lombardo's
How many pumpkins do you see?
Saturday, October 13th, there was an All Church Fall Party at the Lombardo's house. There were about 65 men, women and children. Thanks to Heather L. it was a great success. Heather meticulously arranged everything in great detail.
The children enjoyed sack races, pumpkin decorating and jumping on the trampoline, while the adults enjoyed a huge bonfire (built by Jack G.). The teens even played football. Paul M. emceed for us with a great selection of Christian music.
We had plenty of delicious food and desserts.
Thank you Lombardos for allowing us to use your beautiful back yard.
